Internal Sales Representative - Industrial Distribution

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Internal Sales Representative to join our busy team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, building customer relationships, and delivering exceptional service.

Working closely with external sales representatives, warehouse staff, and suppliers, you will play a key role in supporting customers with enquiries, quotations, order processing, and product solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries via phone and email
• Prepare quotations and follow up opportunities
• Process sales orders accurately and efficiently
• Maintain and develop strong customer relationships
• Liaise with suppliers regarding pricing and availability
• Support the external sales team
• Assist customers with product selection and technical information
• Work collaboratively with warehouse and operations teams to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Maintain accurate customer and sales records

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous internal sales or customer service experience
• Experience within industrial distribution, bearings, power transmission, fasteners, hydraulics, or related industries highly regarded
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities
• A proactive and positive attitude
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Competent computer skills and experience using ERP systems preferred
