Factory Hand

About the role

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Factory Hand to join our production team on a full-time basis. Working as part of a team, you will undertake a variety of hands-on tasks involved in the production and manufacture of our cast bronze products, ensuring customer orders are completed to the required quality and specifications. This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and takes pride in producing a quality product.

Key responsibilities

• Moulding – preparing moulds and materials for production

• Pouring – assisting with the casting and pouring process

• Finishing – cleaning, grinding, finishing and preparing products

• General factory and production duties

• Following production instructions and customer specifications

• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment

• Working collaboratively with team members to meet production requirements

• Following all Phoenix Foundry policies, procedures and Work Health & Safety (WHS) requirements

About you

• A strong work ethic and reliable attendance

• A willingness to learn new skills and processes

• Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality

• The ability to work effectively as part of a team

• A flexible and positive approach to different tasks

• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety

• Previous foundry, manufacturing, metal trade or factory experience (desirable but not essential)
