Senior Ecologist

• Providing technical ecological advice and report deliverables on a range of complex projects
• Field based data collection, surveys and mapping including threatened species surveys and PCT identification
• Supporting the National Ecology Lead in maintaining a sustainable pipeline of work for a growing team through business development
• Involvement in proposals and building awareness of the Arcadis brand and ecological capabilities of the team
• Proactively managing projects or components of projects, quality assurance and development of client relationships.

First and foremost, you share our passion for improving quality of life. You are a flora or fauna ecologist with experience in consultancy and you will come to us with:

• Tertiary qualifications in ecology or other relevant degree
• Knowledge of, and experience in, flora and/or fauna identification and assessment, in NSW 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Relevant post-graduate experience, including report delivery and project management
• Experience leading, mentoring and developing ecologists and providing technical support.
