Synergie Australia is seeking a Sorter for a waste management and recycling facility located in Derwent Park, Tasmania.

The important parts:

• Shift schedule: Monday to Friday 6:00am to 2:00pm
• Pay rate: $38.44 per hour + Super
• Location: Derwent Park, Tasmania

What you will be required to do:

• General cleaning and housekeeping duties
• Sorting and counting cans, cartons and bottles
• Coordinating the inward and outward flow of materials
• Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping across the work area

To be successful in the role you will:

• Have a safety-first mindset and understand the importance of following site procedures
• Bring a great attitude and good work ethic, including reliability and punctuality
• Be comfortable completing repetitive tasks and working on a sorting line for extended periods
• Have working rights in Australia
• Have access to reliable transport and ability to get to work
• Have steel capped safety boots and high vis top/vest
