The Royal Melbourne is one of Victoria’s largest hospitals providing a comprehensive range of health services including acute, sub-acute, general, and specialist medical services throughout inpatient and community-based facilities. We are also a proud part of the world-renowned Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, working in collaboration to advance research for continuous improvement of clinical care.
Unit Description
The RMH Neurology Unit is one of Australia’s premier clinical and academic Neurology units. It offers a full range of inpatient, ambulatory care and outpatient services and an active clinical trials and research unit. In addition to the state-wide comprehensive stroke centre, the department has strengths in epilepsy (dedicated 4-bed video-EEG monitoring unit), multiple sclerosis and other neuroimmunology conditions, movement disorders including deep brain stimulation, neuromuscular conditions including neurophysiology, and neuro-ophthalmology
About The Role
Participation in clinical handover at the beginning and end of each shiftEnsuring availability for all rostered shiftsUndertaking rostered duties after hours (including nights and weekends)
About You
Current Registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA) MBBS or equivalent tertiary qualificationsAbility to work in a teamWell-developed communication and presentation skills.
