Role Description The Senior Cabinet Maker is a full-time, on-site role based in Sydney, NSW. This position involves interpreting detailed drawings and specifications, planning workflows, and producing bespoke cabinetry and joinery for residential and commercial projects. The Senior Cabinet Maker will perform precision cutting, assembly, and finishing of timber components, including installation and on-site adjustments to ensure a perfect fit. The role also requires problem-solving on complex custom pieces and contributing to continuous improvement in production methods and craftsmanship.
QualificationsStrong expertise in Millwork and Cabinetry, with proven experience in custom, high-end joinery projects.Advanced Carpentry and Woodworking skills, including precision cutting, assembly, and finishing of timber and related materials.Ability in Spatial Design and reading technical drawings, with competence in translating design concepts into practical, buildable solutions.Solid understanding of joinery techniques, hardware systems, and installation practices for residential and commercial interiors.Experience operating and maintaining woodworking machinery and hand tools in a workshop environment.High attention to detail, commitment to craftsmanship, and ability to meet deadlines without compromising quality.Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with designers, clients, and team members.
