About Us
Royal Life Saving WA is the peak drowning prevention and water safety education organisation in Western Australia.
Join a not-for-profit organisation leading efforts to prevent drowning and empower the WA community to be safe when in, on and around the water.
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for an organised, proactive and digitally minded person to join our team and support the delivery of marketing and communications across Royal Life Saving WA.
As our Digital Marketing Coordinator, you will work across a diverse mix of digital channels and campaigns, including social media, email marketing, websites, paid digital activity and content. You’ll work closely with teams across the organisation to coordinate marketing activity that builds awareness, drives participation and supports our programs, training, fundraising and community initiatives.
This role is a great opportunity for someone with at least two years’ experience in digital marketing, communications or a similar role who enjoys variety, is confident working across multiple digital platforms and is looking to grow their marketing career while contributing to a meaningful cause.

Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and deliver digital marketing activity across Royal Life Saving WA’s websites, social media channels, email marketing and digital campaigns.
Manage organic social media planning, scheduling and publishing, working with internal teams to identify relevant content and opportunities.
Coordinate digital campaigns that support training enrolments, program participation, fundraising initiatives, events and organisational awareness.
Support the delivery of paid digital campaigns, working from briefs and direction provided by the Digital Marketing Specialist and coordinating campaign assets, copy and requirements.
Write, build, test and coordinate eDM campaigns, ensuring messaging is clear, engaging and aligned with campaign objectives.
Write, edit and publish accessible website content, applying SEO and GEO principles and recommendations where relevant.
Develop and adapt copy and creative content for different digital channels, audiences and campaign objectives.
Coordinate the development of digital assets and content, working with internal stakeholders and external suppliers where required.
Monitor website, social media, email and campaign performance and use insights to support optimisation and future marketing activity.
Assist with digital reporting, tracking key metrics and identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
Maintain digital content, campaign calendars and an organised digital asset library.
Ensure digital marketing activity meets brand, accessibility, privacy, consent, safeguarding and quality requirements.
Collaborate with internal teams, partners and community stakeholders to support broader marketing priorities and organisational campaigns.
Selection Criteria
Essential
At least two years’ experience in digital marketing, communications or a related role.
Experience working across a range of digital marketing channels, such as social media, websites, email marketing and digital campaigns.
Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences and channels.
Experience using social media scheduling, content management and/or email marketing platforms.
An understanding of digital campaign delivery and the role of organic and paid channels in achieving marketing objectives.
Confidence interpreting digital marketing metrics and using performance insights to inform future activity.
Strong organisational and coordination skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Ability to work collaboratively with a range of internal stakeholders and represent the organisation professionally.
Current driver’s licence.
Desirable
Qualification in marketing, communications, digital media or a related field.
Experience using platforms such as Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, Sked, Campaign Monitor, Squiz or similar.
Understanding of SEO, GEO, digital accessibility and website content best practice.
Familiarity with Meta advertising and other paid digital platforms.
Experience with digital analytics, campaign reporting or performance dashboards.
Basic skills in creating or editing digital content, including imagery and short-form video.
Experience in the community, education, training, aquatics or not-for-profit sector.
Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain one.
