Boilermaker / Maintenance Assistant

We are currently seeking a Boilermaker for a 3-month contract with an immediate start, with potential to extend. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your skills to an industry leader, contributing to high-profile projects while working within a dynamic and supportive team.

About the Role: You will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing steel structures, conducting repairs to Semi-trailers and processing equipment. Your expertise in welding and metal fabrication will be key to ensuring the safety, integrity, and efficiency of the projects you’ll be working on.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricating and assembling steel structures according to specifications and blueprints.

• Welding, cutting, and shaping steel materials using MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques.

• Conducting inspections and performing repairs on steel structures and machinery.

• Adhering to industry safety standards and ensuring a safe working environment at all times.

• Collaborating with the team to meet project goals and deadlines efficiently.
  

Skills & Qualifications:

• Trade qualified boilermaker (Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade (Boiler making);

• Extensive mild steel welding experience;

• Ability to interpret technical drawings;

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality;

• Experience working with heavy machinery and in challenging environments;

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive team.
