Landscaper / paver

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Landscaper / Paver to join our team on a casual basis with 38+ hourly weeks currently available if wanted. We also have the ability to transition to full time for suitable candidates. This is an excellent opportunity to work in the dynamic gardening and landscaping industry, contributing to the creation of beautiful outdoor spaces throughout Perth. Based in Forrestdale, WA 6112, this role offers flexibility and the chance to work on diverse landscaping projects, from garden design implementation to paving and hardscaping installations.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and levelling ground for landscaping projects, including site excavation and debris removal

• Laying pavers, stones, and other hardscaping materials according to design specifications and technical standards

• Installing garden beds, borders, and edging to create defined landscape features

• Operating landscaping equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently

• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and attention to detail on all projects

• Following health and safety protocols and site requirements at all times

• Communicating effectively with team members and clients regarding project progress and requirements

• Contributing ideas and suggestions for project improvements and best practices

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Landscaper or Paver in the gardening and landscaping industry

• Strong knowledge of paving techniques, materials, and installation methods

• Proficiency with landscaping tools and equipment, including power tools where applicable

• Ability to read and interpret landscaping plans and specifications

• Physical fitness and capability to perform manual labour, including lifting and repetitive tasks

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Current driver's licence is desirable

• Relevant qualifications or certifications in landscaping or paving are advantageous

• A positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to work flexibly on casual assignments
