Business Development Manager – Geospatial Solutions

4D Prisma is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to grow the sales of our GNSS, LiDAR and 3D scanning solutions across Australia.

This is a remote, full-time position available to candidates based in Queensland, New South Wales or Victoria. Candidates based on the Gold Coast or in Brisbane are preferred due to their proximity to our operations, demonstration equipment and technical support.

Regular customer visits and interstate travel will be required.

Essential Requirements

• Professional experience with both GNSS surveying equipment and LiDAR, laser scanning or 3D reality-capture technology.
• Experience in B2B sales, business development or technical solution sales.
• Demonstrated ability to prospect for new customers and convert opportunities into sales.
• Understanding of surveying, geospatial, civil construction or engineering workflows.
• Confidence conducting technical product demonstrations and presentations.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a remote sales territory.
• Current Australian driver’s licence.
• Willingness to travel interstate regularly.
• Full Australian working rights without requiring employer sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new sales opportunities across Australia.
• Promote GNSS, LiDAR, laser scanning and 3D reality-capture solutions.
• Generate new business through prospecting, calls, emails, referrals, networking and customer visits.
• Build relationships with surveying companies, civil contractors, engineering consultancies, construction companies, mining organisations and government departments.
• Understand customer workflows and recommend suitable technical solutions.
• Arrange and conduct remote and onsite product demonstrations.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and commercial offers.
• Manage the complete sales process from initial contact through to negotiation and closing.
• Follow up enquiries generated through marketing campaigns, exhibitions and supplier referrals.
• Develop existing customer accounts and identify additional sales opportunities.
• Provide sales forecasts, market feedback and competitor information.
• Represent 4D Prisma at exhibitions, conferences and industry events.
• Travel interstate for demonstrations, customer meetings and training.

Highly Regarded

• Existing relationships within the Australian surveying, construction, engineering, mining or geospatial industries.
• Experience selling GNSS receivers, LiDAR systems, surveying equipment, technical software or integrated geospatial solutions.
• Qualifications or practical experience in surveying, geospatial science, engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience managing a multi-state sales territory.

Pay: $65,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
