What you’ll own

Worldpay is looking for a Relationship Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of existing enterprise clients. These clients are large, complex organizations that may operate across multiple regions and require a strategic, commercially focused relationship management approach.

In this role, you will act as the primary relationship lead for your assigned clients, with responsibility for revenue growth, client retention, renewals, commercial negotiations, cross-sell opportunities and overall relationship health.

You will work closely with clients to understand their business priorities, payment needs and growth objectives, while partnering with internal Worldpay teams to deliver strong commercial and client outcomes.

• Manage and grow a portfolio of existing enterprise clients, with a focus on revenue growth, retention and long-term relationship strength.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans that identify growth opportunities, deepen client engagement and increase Worldpay’s share of wallet.
• Act as the primary relationship lead between the client and Worldpay, ensuring a strong understanding of client objectives, commercial expectations, operational needs and regional considerations.
• Build trusted relationships across complex client organizations, including executive stakeholders, finance, procurement, technology, operations, product, treasury and risk teams.
• Identify and drive cross-sell and upsell opportunities across Worldpay products and solutions.
• Lead commercial discussions with clients, including pricing, renewals, contract renegotiations and broader commercial terms.
• Structure and negotiate commercial opportunities that meet client expectations while aligning with Worldpay’s commercial objectives and approval frameworks.
• Work closely with internal teams including product, pricing, legal, risk, operations, implementation, finance and customer experience to support client outcomes.
• Monitor client performance and identify opportunities to improve payment acceptance, operational efficiency and the overall value delivered to the client.
• Prepare and present proposals, business reviews, renewal plans and commercial recommendations.
• Lead regular client reviews, including strategic business reviews, executive meetings and performance discussions.
• Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management and account updates across assigned clients.
• Identify at-risk clients or relationships, escalate concerns where required and develop action plans to address commercial, operational or relationship challenges.
• Collaborate with regional and global Worldpay teams where clients operate across multiple markets.
• This role is required to work with different teams across different geographies and time zones to deliver business outcomes. As such, the role may be required to work or remain contactable outside regular hours due to different time zones at times.
• Other related duties assigned as needed. 

What you’ll bring

• Extensive experience in account management with commercial acumen
• At least 5 years of experience interacting and partnering with senior management
• Keen interest in payments and technology
