The role
Applications are sought for the position of Geology Support Officer.
The responsibilities of this role will be:

• Coordinate travel, rosters, accommodation, site access and inductions for Geology personnel, contractors and visitors across all OBM mine sites.
• Maintain accurate roster and travel records and resolve booking or travel-related issues.
• Process and reconcile timesheets, leave, allowances, overtime and pay adjustments in liaison with Payroll and HR.
• Manage procurement, ordering and inventory of Geology consumables, equipment and supplies, including purchase orders and delivery tracking.
• Liaise with suppliers and Supply Chain to resolve purchasing, pricing, stock and delivery issues.
• Support departmental budget tracking, cost control and expenditure reporting.
• Provide administrative support to the Geology Manager and site teams, including meetings, correspondence, filing, registers and databases.
• Assist with reports, presentations, contractor documentation, inductions and compliance requirements.
• Provide administrative and procurement support to other site departments as required.

About you
To be considered for the role, you will have the following qualifications, skills and experience: 

• Certificate III/IV in Business Administration, or equivalent relevant experience
• Previous experience in an administration, coordination or ordering/procurement role, ideally within a mining or resources environment
• Experience coordinating travel and rosters in a FIFO/DIDO or remote operations environment highly regarded
• Experience processing timesheets and pay adjustments, or working closely with a Payroll/HR function
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); experience with ERP/procurement systems (e.g. Pronto, SAP, Ellipse) desirable
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail and organisational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise across multiple sites and departments
• Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities and deadlines
• Familiarity with Workplace Health and Safety Act & Regulations
• Current Class C WA driver's licence
