Company Secretary

We are seeking an experienced Company Secretary to lead the governance function of a respected organisation. Working closely with the Board, President and CEO, you will provide expert governance advice while ensuring the organisation meets all statutory and regulatory obligations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate Board, Council and subsidiary meetings, including agendas, board papers and minutes.

• Ensure compliance with the Corporations Act, ACNC requirements and organisational constitutions.

• Provide governance advice to the Board, President and CEO.

• Oversee member elections and support governance initiatives that strengthen member engagement.

• Manage the organisation's insurance portfolio and contribute to risk management activities.

About You

To be successful, you will have:

• A Governance Institute of Australia qualification (or equivalent).

• Experience in a Company Secretary or governance role

• Strong knowledge of the Corporations Act and Board governance.

• Exceptional organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.

• The flexibility to attend occasional after-hours Board meetings (with time in lieu provided).
