We are seeking a Support Worker to assist a participant in the community, supporting them to attend appointments, stay active, and maintain independence in everyday life.

Location:

• Springfield

Days Available:

• Monday to Saturday

Applicants located in or near Springfield are strongly encouraged to apply due to participant preference.

About the Role
This position involves supporting participants both at home and in the community. Activities may include attending appointments, shopping, community outings, and assisting with everyday routines.

Preference for female staff

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting participants to attend appointments and community activities
• Assisting with shopping, errands and everyday tasks
• Encouraging independence and community participation
• Building respectful relationships with participants
• Maintaining clear progress notes and communication with the team

Essential Requirements

• Experience working in disability support or a similar role
• Current Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Current First Aid and CPR
• Ability to work independently and maintain clear documentation

Pay & Conditions

$34.10 - $36.08 per hour depending on experience
Client transport reimbursement: $0.80 per km

Important
This role requires a reliable person who understands the importance of showing up consistently, as participants depend on their support workers.
