Senior Case Manager

Maayu Mali is a culturally grounded rehabilitation service operated under Pius X, supporting residents to heal, rebuild, and reconnect with family, culture, and community. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated team developing a new drug and alcohol residential rehabilitation program that will contribute to positive change in our community.

We are seeking a committed Senior Case Manager to lead daily operations, support staff, and ensure programs are delivered safely, effectively, and in line with cultural values.

The Senior Case Manager works closely with the CEO, Program Manager, Intake Officer, and operational team to ensure residents receive the right programs, the right support, and the right opportunities to build skills, independence, and community participation.

This is an Identified Aboriginal position, as the role requires cultural knowledge, lived experience, and community connection essential to supporting residents and strengthening cultural programs.

About the Role

In this role, you will support the Program Manager to develop and implement culturally grounded, evidence‑informed programs that align with resident case plans and therapeutic goals, while maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date case management records. You will help coordinate centre programs and strengthen resident engagement through ongoing case management and skill‑building activities, meeting regularly with participants and their Case Workers to monitor progress and ensure plans remain effective.

Key responsibilities include:

•             Ensure all client case management records are accurate, complete, and up to date using the organisation’s internal data systems.

•             Support the coordination of centre programs while fostering strong resident engagement through case management and skill‑building activities.

•             Meet regularly with each participant and their Case Worker to monitor progress, provide support, and ensure case plans remain relevant and effective.

• Assist the Program Manager to develop and implement culturally grounded, evidence‑informed programs aligned with resident case plans and therapeutic goals

•             Lead, mentor, and support staff to build a strong, respectful team culture.

•             Contribute to accreditation, continuous improvement, and NIAA compliance.

Required Qualifications

• Cert IV AOD or equivalent

·        Driver’s Licence

·        Working With Children Card

·        First Aid Certificate

·        National Police Check

·        Confirmation of Aboriginality with common seal
