We're looking for an experienced Educator who takes genuine pride in their practice, holds themselves to a high professional standard and is ready to take the next step.

If you're the educator who consistently goes above and beyond, takes ownership, supports your team, builds strong relationships with families and genuinely understands what high-quality early childhood practice looks like — we want you at Little Wishes Carina.

And if you have your sights set on Room Leadership, we'll help you get there.

You won't be thrown into a room and expected to work it out alone.

You'll spend this year working alongside one of our experienced Room Leaders, receiving mentoring, coaching and hands-on leadership experience while continuing to build your own professional practice.

Our goal is for you to transition into your own Room Leader position next year, supported by a leadership team that wants to see you succeed.

Little Wishes Carina is a family-owned, 119-place early learning service committed to exceptional outcomes for children — and an exceptional working environment for educators.

We believe great educators do their best work when they have the time, resources, support and trust to do it properly.

You'll have:

• $35–$42 per hour

• 4-day week, 9-day fortnight or traditional 5-day roster options

• Additional educators in every room beyond minimum ratios

• A dedicated Inclusion Support approach for children with additional needs

• A hands-on leadership team, including our Director and Assistant Director, working out of ratio and alongside educators

• Generous weekly programming and planning time

• Rosters published four weeks in advance

• Ongoing paid professional development and leadership training

• A genuine and structured Room Leader development pathway

• Employer-funded Blue Card renewals, First Aid, CPR, Child Protection, Safe Sleep and required professional training

• A workplace where professional ideas, initiative and high standards are valued

You will:

• Hold a Cert III or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care

• Have solid experience in the early childhood sector

• Demonstrate strong, intentional and reflective practice

• Build respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues

• Confidently implement the EYLF and National Quality Framework

• Value child-led, play-based learning

• Be organised, proactive and dependable

• Communicate openly and professionally

• Take responsibility for your decisions and your practice

• Welcome feedback and continually look for ways to improve

• Lead by example

• Contribute positively to your team's culture

• Take genuine pride in the environments and experiences you create for children
