We're currently recruiting for full-time Head Chef, Cook and Baker positions.

Position: Head Chef

Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Australind, Western Australia
Salary: $75,000 to $90,000 plus superannuation depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the daily operations of the kitchen.
• Prepare and present high-quality café meals to a consistent standard.
• Develop seasonal menu items and improve existing dishes.
• Supervise, train and support the kitchen team.
• Manage stock, ordering, food costs and minimise wastage.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and HACCP requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment.
• Work closely with management to achieve operational and business goals.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience as a qualified Chef in a commercial kitchen.
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent trade qualification).
• Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory kitchen role.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Thorough knowledge of food safety legislation, hygiene standards and HACCP systems.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and lead by example.
• Passion for producing high-quality food and driving kitchen standards.

Position: Cook

Salary: $65,000 to $75,000 plus superannuation depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present café menu items to a high standard.
• Follow recipes and maintain consistency in food quality and presentation.
• Assist with menu development and daily food preparation.
• Monitor stock levels and minimise food wastage.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and HACCP requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment.
• Work efficiently with the kitchen and front-of-house team during busy service periods.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Cook in a commercial kitchen.
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification); relevant industry experience will also be considered.
• Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene and HACCP principles.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.

Position: Pastry cook

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: $65,000 to $75,000 plus superannuation depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a range of breads, pastries, cakes, cookies and other baked goods.
• Maintain consistent product quality, presentation and freshness.
• Follow recipes and production schedules to meet daily demand.
• Assist with stock control and minimise food wastage.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and HACCP requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe bakery environment.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to deliver high-quality products.

Pay: $65,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
