Biomedical Service Technician – Part Time

We’re looking for a Biomedical Service Technician (Biomed) to join our growing team based at our service centre in Walliston.

We are a fast-growing, family-owned Western Australian business with a strong focus on supporting healthcare providers throughout WA. We’re looking for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, takes pride in doing things properly, and wants to be part of a friendly and supportive team.

About the role

This is a part-time position with flexible hours, making it suitable for someone looking for a role that can work around other commitments. You'll be based primarily at our warehouse and service centre in Walliston, carrying out servicing, maintenance, testing and repair of medical devices.

Key responsibilities

• Servicing, testing and repairing medical devices

• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs

• Preventative maintenance and safety checks

• Maintaining accurate service and maintenance records

• Working with our team to ensure equipment is returned to customers promptly and in excellent working order

• Following manufacturer procedures and relevant quality and safety requirements

About you

Ideally, you’ll have:

• Biomedical, electronics, electrical or similar technical qualifications or experience

• Previous experience servicing or repairing medical devices is preferred

• Strong fault-finding and practical problem-solving skills

• Good attention to detail

• A reliable and organised approach to your work

• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a small team

Experience with the specific devices we support is not essential. Product-specific service training will be provided to the successful applicant.
