Trade Assistant - Casual Day/Night Shift

Allspec Engineering Pty Ltd is a well-established fabrication business that has provided fabrication services for the last decade to the mining and construction industry within Western Australia. 

We are seeking an experienced Trades Assistant to join our successful workshop team for Day/Night shift. 

 About the role

As a Trades Assistant you will support our Fabrication workshop to ensure we deliver a quality product to our client, in full and on time.  This will include:

• Providing support to the team as required to complete work activities

• Using the Forklift and Overhead Cranes to transport steel as required

• Operating a variety of tools including grinders, power drills and other cutting or shaping tools as required to complete assigned tasks

• Providing assistance to Boilermakers and Welders in the workshop

• Assisting the Workshop Superintendent in various ad hoc duties

• Monday - Friday 6pm - 5.30am - Saturday work available

About you

You will ideally have experience of working within the fabrication industry with the following:

• Forklift ticket

• Overhead crane experience

• Positive, can-do attitude

• Solutions focused, always working to execute the defined task with quality and precision in a timely manner

• Ability to work effectively as a team
