The role

We're looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead our AP function — including a small team of 2–3 Bookkeepers — from transaction processing through to payment runs, supplier reconciliations, and weekly payroll support. You'll be the person keeping AP accurate, on time, and under control.

Day to day, you'll:

• Lead and coordinate a small team of 2–3 Bookkeepers, allocating workload across the function;

• Process and manage AP transactions, matched to purchase orders and delivery records;

• Run AP close-off and month-end activities to the finance close calendar;

• Reconcile supplier statements monthly and chase discrepancies to resolution;

• Prepare and process accurate, on-time AP payment runs;

• Support bank reconciliation queries and investigations;

• Set up and prepare weekly payroll data ahead of deadlines;

• Be the first point of contact for suppliers and internal teams on AP queries.

About you

• Experience in accounts payable or broader finance support;

• Sharp attention to detail — you catch the mismatched invoice before it's a problem;

• Strong time management — deadlines don't slip on your watch;

• A clear, confident communicator with suppliers and internal stakeholders;

• Experience leading or coordinating a small team, or clear readiness to step into that responsibility;

• Bonus points for payroll experience or NetSuite (or similar ERP) exposure.
