Through our Hansa and Southern Spreaders brands we deliver industry leading Truck, Trailer and Linkage fertiliser spreaders and ancillary equipment in the Australian and New Zealand market place's.

We are a small-medium sized manufacturer with a passion for what we do and a passion for producing our product to the highest possible standards.  We have an enthusiastic team of people, due somewhat to our belief in to be able to give our team the best opportunity possible to succeed they must have the best equipment and a clean and vibrant work environment.

With the ongoing expansion of our products we are experiencing increased demand, and are increasing our production workforce to accommodate this growth.

The Roles:

Multiple opportunities exist for candidates.

We are looking to speak to applicants that have already started a Welding/Fabrication apprenticeship and are looking to step up and challenge themselves to become the best tradesperson they can, or experienced trades people ready to be part of a team that build some of the highest quality agricultural equipment in the world.

If you can answer yes to the following, then a career at Southern Spreader might be for you:

• Good work ethic and willing to learn and listen,

• You have to be reliable and punctual,

• You must be able to work independently, as well as a part of small groups

• Good Communication skills, and

• Farm or agricultural background would be favored upon.

Application Information:

These are permanent employment positions, not contract or temp to perm. roles in an exciting, vibrant and growing company:

• Significantly above award wages,

• Overtime available once able to work unsupervised,

• A 1:30pm finish on Fridays,

• Our recruitment process requires applicants to undertake a detailed weld (and fabrication) test, as well as a pre-employment medical and drug test, and

• You must have the right to live and work in Australia to apply for this job.
