About the Opportunity

Ready to grow your career in wildlife and exhibited animal care?

Bundaberg Regional Council is offering an exciting 24-month traineeship, giving you the opportunity to earn while you learn and gain practical, hands-on experience working in the Alexandra Park Zoo.

As our Zoo Trainee, you will work towards completing ACM30321 Certificate III in Wildlife and Exhibited Animal Care while receiving on-the-job training and experience.

About You

To be successful in this traineeship, you will need to demonstrate:

• A genuine passion for wildlife, conservation, animal welfare and education.
• A commitment to completing a Certificate III in Wildlife and Exhibited Animal Care, and participating fully in formal training requirements
• Strong communication, literacy and numeracy skills.
• The ability to work under supervision and as part of a team.
• Completion of a Senior High School Certificate and a current manual Class C Driver Licence would also be desirable.
