We are a passionate and committed group of people working closely to remain a trusted provider of providing high quality support, information and services to people with cerebral palsy and their families for over 25 years.
About the Role
We're looking for compassionate, reliable and trustworthy Support Workers to join our SIL Team in Cranbourne. You'll provide person-centred support to people with CP and other complex disabilities , supporting them to live independently and achieve their goals.
Shifts
Sleepovers, AM-PM during the week, weekends.
Shift times typically (can vary) from 6:30am-2pm, 2pm-7pm and S/O- 6pm- 8:30am
Approximately 20 hours per week available with more potentially on offer
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality, individualised support in line with our participants' NDIS goals
Assist with daily living, community access and complex care as required
Promote independence, dignity and choice for every participant
Maintain accurate progress notes and communication with your manager

Understanding of NDIS principles and participant rights
Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
Great communication and reliability
A willingness and dedication to progressing CPSN learning and training
Essential Requirements
Experience in hoisting, stoma care and managing BOC's
Experience providing supports to hearing impaired people
Experience in seizure management
Experience with medication administration
Clear spoken English
Essential Compliance requirements:
NDIS worker screening check
NDIS Orientation Module - Quality, Safety and You
First Aid certificate
CPR certificate
Unrestricted working rights in Australia
Australian drivers licence
