 We are expanding and looking for a passionate and career driven trade qualified Automotive Electrician to join our team. Electromechanics is a family owned and operated small auto electrical business servicing civil and transport clients, with a fully equipped workshop located in Maddington WA and a mobile service team working across the Perth metropolitan area. We have been operating for 9 years with a loyal customer base and a great supportive close-knit team.

The Position

Electromechanics is looking for an experienced Automotive Electrician to join our team. Standard hours are Monday to Friday 0730-1530 with regular overtime available. Working on a large range of mobile plant and equipment, trucks, earthmoving equipment in the metro area.

Tasks include:

·         General automotive electrical diagnostics and repairs.

·         Air-Conditioning servicing and repairs

·         Manufacturing of wiring harnesses and electrical component installations

·         New vehicle fit-outs

·         Mentoring apprentices

·         Diagnostics with scan tools across various platforms (Jaltest/Zenith/Insite & ET)

·         Breakdown maintenance across sites and workshop settings

 The Successful applicant will need:

We are looking for someone with the following experience:

·         Automotive Electrical Trade Qualification

·         Industry experience (Pay is dependent on experience)

·         Current Airconditioning licence (RHL) is essential

·         Current Australian C Class Drivers licence (HR Desirable)

·         Must be an Australian resident, Perth based, we do NOT offer visas or sponsorship

·         Experience with heavy vehicle, mobile plant equipment, road transport and various electrical systems

·         Enthusiastic, self-motivated and the ability to work unsupervised with problem solving skills

·         High attention to detail and cleanliness
