With an exciting portfolio of projects across Western Australia and the Northern Territory and a strong focus on growth, we are seeking an experienced Exploration Manager to join our team in Perth, Western Australia

The Opportunity

Reporting to senior management, the Exploration Manager will take a leading role in planning and delivering CuFe's exploration and project development strategy across its portfolio of projects.

You will be responsible for driving exploration programs from target generation through to discovery and resource definition, working closely with technical consultants, drilling contractors, laboratories, regulators, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement CuFe's exploration and project development strategy across its project portfolio.

• Generate, evaluate, and rank exploration targets using geological, geochemical and geophysical datasets.

• Manage exploration budgets, schedules, contractors, and technical consultants.

• Plan and supervise RC, diamond, and other drilling programs.

• Progress significant discoveries from early-stage exploration through to resource definition.

• Assist in the preparation of JORC Code (2012) compliant technical reports and ASX announcements.

• Demonstrated experience navigating WA mining legislation, tenement compliance, and the DEMIRS/SRS portal.

• Liaise directly with the company’s tenement management consultants and proactively manage the company’s tenement portfolio to maintain good standing and secure tenure.

• Work with senior management to evaluate new project and acquisition opportunities.

• Maintain strong relationships with landholders, regulators, contractors, and other stakeholders.

• Ensure exploration activities are undertaken safely, efficiently and in accordance with regulatory and environmental requirements. Hold the WA Mines Statutory Position of Exploration Manager or be eligible to complete the required exams and training for the statutory Exploration Manager role prior to, or immediately upon commencement.

About You

We are looking for a senior technical leader with a strong track record of mineral discovery, resource development, and exploration program delivery.

You will ideally have:

• Significant experience in copper and/or gold exploration and resource development, preferably across Australian projects.

• A proven experience of managing exploration programs and teams.

• Strong skills in geological interpretation, target generation and defining and executing exploration strategy.

• Experience managing RC and diamond drilling programs.

• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to prioritise exploration expenditure to maximise value.

• Proficiency in geological modelling and GIS software (preferably Vulcan) and QGIS.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• The ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively to a small, high-performance team.

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in geology or a related discipline.

• Full Australian working rights

• Current C Class Driver’s Licence
