ABOUT US
MMC Australia Pty Ltd is looking for experienced Welders to join our Darwin team. If you’re a qualified Boilermaker with strong welding experience, we want to hear from you too.

We’re a family-run Northern Territory engineering company that has been getting the job done since 1993. Our team supports fabrication, maintenance, shutdowns, site works and construction projects throughout Darwin and remote areas of the NT.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a hands-on welding role offering solid hours and genuine variety across workshop and site-based projects.

Depending on the job, you could be working on structural steel, platework, pipe spooling, platforms, tanks, conveyors, wharves, mining infrastructure, repairs or maintenance work.

One week you may be welding components in our East Arm workshop; the next, you could be supporting a shutdown, site installation or remote NT project.

Some fabrication and installation work will form part of the role, but we are primarily looking for people with strong welding ability, a good eye for quality and the flexibility to work across different projects.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• Experience working as a Welder or Boilermaker

• Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade

• Ability to read and interpret drawings

• Strong commitment to safety and quality

• Good attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• A reliable, practical approach to getting the job done

HIGHLY REGARDED

• Current forklift licence or other high-risk work licences

• Working at Heights certification

• Confined Space certification

• Previous workshop, shutdown, maintenance or site experience
