The Role
If you're passionate about turning complex data into meaningful insights and helping leaders make better decisions, this is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping how information is used across one of Australia's leading super funds.

As our Service Reporting & Insights Lead, you'll be the reporting, analytics and insights specialist within the Service & Experience division. Working at the intersection of data, operational performance and workforce intelligence, you'll help transform information into clear, actionable insights that support better business outcomes.

You'll partner closely with leaders across Service & Experience to understand the questions they're trying to answer, translate business needs into reporting and analytics solutions, and develop meaningful insights that help drive action.

This is an opportunity to influence how reporting, business intelligence and workforce insights are used across the division, while helping improve service performance, operational efficiency and member outcomes.

In this role you will:

• Lead the development, delivery and ongoing improvement of reporting, analytics and insight products across Service & Experience.
• Turn complex data into meaningful insights, recommendations and narratives that support decision making.
• Design and maintain dashboards, reporting frameworks and performance measures that provide clear visibility of operational performance.
• Work closely with leaders to understand business questions and translate them into reporting and analytics requirements.
• Identify trends, risks, opportunities and emerging themes through analysis of operational, workforce and service data.
• Partner with the Data Office and enterprise stakeholders to improve data quality, reporting capability and self-service solutions.
• Establish reporting standards, governance practices and continuous improvement initiatives across the function.
• Coach and support team members in reporting, analytics and insight practices.

About You

You're at your best when helping others make sense of complex information, connecting data from multiple sources and translating it into clear insights, recommendations and action.

You understand that great reporting isn't just about producing dashboards. It's about helping people understand what is happening, why it's happening and what they should do next.

You enjoy working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and are comfortable moving between detailed analysis and broader business conversations. 

Whether you're developing a reporting solution, identifying an emerging trend or presenting insights to leaders, you're able to communicate complex information in a simple and meaningful way.

You will bring:

• Strong experience in reporting, analytics, business intelligence, workforce intelligence or insights roles within a complex operational environment.
• Exceptional capability in translating business requirements into reporting, analytics or data solutions that deliver meaningful insights, recommendations and business outcomes.
• Advanced level in Data Modelling – developing models to represent and communicate data requirements and data assets.
• Intermediate to Advanced experience in a variety of insights related tools and techniques including SQL Server / SSRS / SSIS / SSAS; Power BI; Python and Azure Databricks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with the ability to identify trends, drivers and improvement opportunities.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to work effectively across multiple teams and functions.
• Experience working with large or complex datasets and partnering with technical teams to improve reporting outcomes.
• A continuous improvement mindset and a passion for helping organisations become more data-informed.
• Most importantly, you'll be someone who can take complex information and turn it into insights that help leaders make confident decisions.
