The Opportunity

Reporting to the Asset & Project Manager - this is a great opportunity for you to join our supportive Stores team where you will provide a customer-focused service to our business. A typical day in this role may include: 

• Lead and oversee daily warehouse and stores operations, ensuring the safe, efficient receipt, storage, distribution and dispatch of materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts, reconciliations and ERP system management (SAP).
• Manage critical spares and maintenance inventory to support plant reliability and operational continuity.
• Ensure compliance with hazardous goods storage requirements, HSE standards, quality systems and legislative obligations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse processes, inventory management and operational efficiency.
• Lead, coach and develop the Stores team, promoting a strong safety culture, high performance and employee engagement.
• Build strong relationships with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Procurement and suppliers to ensure reliable material availability and customer service.
• Support shutdown planning, business improvement projects, system implementations and associated administrative activities.

About you

• Relevant certificate IV in Warehousing, Supply Chain, Logistics or similar.
• Forklift Licence (LF) and current Driver's Licence.
• Extensive stores/warehouse experience including demonstrated supervisory skills.
• Experience leading, coaching and developing.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control, warehouse operations and maintenance spare parts management.
• Experience using ERP systems such as SAP or JDE is highly beneficial.
• A solid understanding of HSE requirements, hazardous materials and compliance standards.
• Excellent communication and customer engagement and collaboration skills.
• Strong planning, problem-solving and innovative skills.
• A track record in driving continuous improvement and operational efficiencies.
• Demonstrate a safety-focused approach.
• Adaptable, professional and committed to driving high performance in a complex environment.
