Senior Consulting Actuary — AffiliateSydney · flexible / remote-friendly · revenue-share affiliate Azuria Partners is a boutique actuarial consultancy built for actuaries who want to do excellent, independent work — without the weight of a large firm, or the isolation of going it entirely alone.We're inviting an experienced actuary to join us as a Senior Consulting Actuary Affiliate: a flexible, revenue-share arrangement that lets you run your consulting practice under the Azuria brand, backed by our infrastructure, our people, and our market presence.
The opportunityThis isn't a traditional salaried role. It's a partnership of a different shape — designed for a senior actuary who has the experience and the client credibility to consult on their own terms, but who would rather plug into an established platform than build one from scratch.You bring your consulting skill, your judgement, and your relationships. We augment them with:• An established, respected brand in the life insurance market• Service lines and the methodologies, templates and intellectual property behind them• A capable analytical team to support delivery• The collegiality and peer review that only a specialist actuarial team can offerIn return, you help our Partner drive the business forward — bringing your energy, your network, and fresh thinking to a firm that prizes exactly that.
Who we're looking for• A Qualified Actuary (FIAA or equivalent) with 15+ years' experience• A strong practising background, with the standing to lead client relationships• Someone who values flexibility — in hours, in the matters you take on, and in how you work• An entrepreneurial instinct: you want a genuine share in what you build, not just a salary• A collaborative style suited to a small, high-trust team• Experience across life insurance, or adjacent fields is highly valued
