Yard Operator Positions

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate yard equipment to load/unload products.

• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with product selection and order fulfilment.

• Accurately pick, weigh, and prepare landscape materials for retail and trade customers.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised yard, including stockpiling, raking, and sweeping.

• Conduct daily equipment checks and report maintenance issues.

• Ensure correct stock rotation and assist with stock control.

• Follow WHS policies and safe work procedures at all times.

• Assist with deliveries and receiving of bulk and packaged materials.

• Communicate effectively with drivers, sales staff, and customers to ensure smooth yard operations.

Skills & Experience:

• Experience operating loaders (Not Essential).

• Forklift Licence (Not Essential)

• Strong focus on safety and attention to detail.

• Good customer service and communication skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

• Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks.
