Registered Nurse - GP Clinic

About us

We are a small but busy, fully computerised and accredited general practice in the eastern foothills of Perth. With 4 FTE GPs and an established patient base that continues to grow. We are looking for someone who is able to work cooperatively and independently. As we are a fully computerised practice, applicants MUST be computer literate. Previous practice nurse experience is essential. 

The successful applicant will report to the Practice Principal and will be available to work approximately 24 hours per week Monday to Friday. Plus may be required to cover staff leave.
They will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrate a patient-focused approach with genuine empathy and interest in their needs.

Duties include:

• triage

• immunisations and injections

• wound management

• ECG and spirometry

• health assessments

• clinical data management

• coordination of patient services

• The role also requires you to assist doctors with clinical procedures and other duties as directed
  

Key Selection Criteria – Essential

• Registered Nurse – with a current practising certificate of registration with an Australian nurse's board

• Minimum 3 years experience as a Registered nurse

• Demonstrated patient-focused approach in service provision

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to prioritize and organise; efficiency

• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development

• Willingness to learn on the job

• Accredited Immunisation certificate
