The Opportunities:

We are currently looking for full-time Pharmacy Assistants to be part of our collaborative and dedicated team. This is a unique and diverse opportunity for Pharmacy Assistants who enjoy a variety of duties, tasks and interactions during their working day as Mullein Pharmacy at Mt Gravatt has dedicated Aged Care Services that provides daily services to numerous aged care facilities across Brisbane.

With the recent acquisition of a second sachet packing machine to support our continued growth, we are looking for additional Pharmacy Assistants to join our team! No weekends – Monday to Friday!!!

We are looking for individuals, with a positive attitude, who enjoy working in a fun, collaborative and supportive environment and who prides themselves on their ability to go above and beyond to ensure that our customers’ expectations are always met.

These roles are particularly focused on aged care services and are ideal for people who enjoy working in a team environment and are interested in helping the team efficiently deliver services to our community and aged care partners.

Pharmacy Assistant Responsibilities:

Our team members are responsible in assisting with:

• Sachet and Webster Packing

• Operation of sachet packing machine and related equipment (training provided)

• Aged-care and Dispensary inventory control and organization 

• Claim management using MedView Paperless

• Customer Service

• Assisting Pharmacist and other team members with any other duties as required

About you:

To be successful in this role you will ideally have:

• 12 months+ Pharmacy Assistant experience (preferred, not essential)

• Exceptional customer care and customer service skills

• An interest or passion for pharmacy, healthcare and/or retail

• A genuine, warm and engaging personality and ability to build rapport with others

• Positive attitude

• Willingness to learn and embrace new challenges and opportunities

• Outstanding communication

• Demonstrated initiative, time-management & flexibility

• Capable of performing some administrative and accounts duties

• Ability to multi-task and prioritise

• Register / POS skills

• Attention to detail

• Drivers Licence to assist with deliveries to nursing home if required

• Australian citizenship or permanent residency required

 In addition, we would love for you to have (although not essential):

• Aged-care and/or Dispensary inventory control and organisation

• Sachet and Webster Packing experience
