Who we need:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate, Diploma Qualified Educator, to Lead our 0 - 2.3 years room.

We are looking for a self-motivated educator who is passionate about children and contributing to the development, growth and advancement of a centre that is known for its high level of care. The role will involve; 

• observing children and creating an engaging experience for them

• leading a room, delegating and supporting educators

• maintaining relevant and timely communication with families

• contributing to the quality improvement of the centre

• record keeping and reporting 

Essential criteria:
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Current Working With Children Check
- Three years experience in Early Childhood Education and Care as a Lead Educator in charge of a room

- Two years experience working with children aged 0-2 years
- Have a current First Aid certificate

- Have completed National Safety Training in last 6 months as well as I'm Alert food safety training
- Confidence in implementing and evaluating daily care routines and programmes for individual children and/or groups
- Ability to build meaningful, trusting and respectful relationships with children, families and team members
- Willingness to learn and collaborate with others

- Ability to work unassisted in a room with a small number of children

- Have a strong understanding of the National Quality Standard and the Assessment and Rating process

Applicants must be able to work within the hours of 7:00am and 6:00pm, Monday to Friday, 5 days a week.
