About the role
We're looking for a paediatric OT who lights up working with kids and wants a caseload full of the moments that actually matter.
This is the good stuff. You'll work with children from 0 to 18, across our clinic, in their schools, and in their homes, helping them do the things every kid deserves to do: hold a pencil, tie their shoes, sit still enough to learn, make friends, get through a school day feeling capable. You'll run 30 to 60 minute sessions, set real goals with families, and then get the best part of this job, which is watching a kid nail something they couldn't do a month ago and seeing their parents' faces when it happens.
Full-time or part-time from three days a week, built around your life, not squeezed into it.
What your week looks like
You'll manage your own caseload of NDIS and private paediatric clients: initial and functional assessments, standardised tools you already know and love (BOT-2, Sensory Profile, Beery VMI, COPM, Print Tool and more), goal setting, therapy sessions and reports. You'll work inside a proper multidisciplinary team, so you're never the only allied health brain in the room, and you'll liaise with families, teachers, support coordinators, paediatricians and GPs to actually move each kid forward.
Why you'll love it here
What we're after
Why people stay
Ask the team and they'll tell you the same thing. It doesn't really feel like work. The kids know you, the families trust you, and the people beside you feel more like family than colleagues. You get mentored, you get room to grow, and you spend your days on work that actually means something. If you've been after a paeds role where you're supported, challenged and genuinely happy to show up, this is it.
Interested? Reach out to Abdul at abdul@yieldplacement.com and I'll tell you more about the role, the team and the kids you'd be working with.
Pay: $80,000.00 – $125,000.00 per year
