Role Description This is a casual, hybrid role based in Melbourne, VIC, with a mix of on-site work and some work from home. The Junior Videographer & Social Media Manager will capture high-quality video content of interior projects, behind-the-scenes activities, and brand stories. Day-to-day tasks include planning and shooting video, setting up and adjusting cameras and lighting, and editing footage for use across social media platforms. The role also involves managing social media channels, scheduling posts, assisting with content strategy, and monitoring engagement. The individual will collaborate closely with the design and marketing teams to ensure visual content aligns with brand messaging and project timelines.
QualificationsStrong foundational skills in Video Production and Shooting VideoProficiency in Camera Operation and working with Camera equipmentBasic knowledge of Lighting and its impact on video qualityAbility to edit video content using common editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar)Understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn) and content best practicesCreative mindset with an eye for composition, storytelling, and design-focused visualsGood organizational skills, reliability, and ability to manage part-time workload and deadlinesStrong communication skills and willingness to take feedback and learn from senior team membersPrevious experience or portfolio of video and social media work is highly regardedInterest in architecture, interiors, or the healthcare sector is a huge plus
