Job Opportunity:

We are on the hunt for a stand-out Veterinary Receptionist to join our team, on a part-time basis (with opportunity to grow into a full-time role for the right person).

We're looking for a very special kind of person.

Not a future vet nurse.

Not someone looking for a temporary role.

We're looking for a dedicated Veterinary Receptionist who loves customer service and wants to build a rewarding career helping pets and the people who love them.

Our nursing team is fantastic and already well established. What we're searching for is someone who thrives at the front desk, enjoys administration, and understands that a warm welcome, a kind word, and exceptional service can make all the difference to a client's day.

As the first face clients see and the first voice they hear, you'll play a vital role in creating an outstanding experience for every pet and pet parent who visits our clinic.

The role requires that you:

• Be passionate about customer service and creating memorable client experiences.
  
• Have a genuine love for pets and the people who care for them.
  
• Enjoy customer service and administration as a long-term career path.
  
• Be a quick learner who embraces new systems, processes and challenges.
  
• Have previous reception, administration or customer service experience.
  
• Be confident answering phones and managing enquiries.
  
• Love being organised and keeping multiple tasks on track.
  
• Communicate with warmth, professionalism and empathy.
  
• Have strong computer skills and excellent attention to detail.
  
• Stay calm, friendly and solutions-focused when things get busy.
  
• Enjoy working as part of a collaborative and supportive team.
  
• Be comfortable juggling appointments, paperwork, payments and all the moving parts that keep a clinic running smoothly.

Bonus points (not essential) if you have:

• Veterinary reception experience.
  
• Veterinary nursing experience.
  
• Experience in healthcare, medical reception, hospitality or retail customer service.
  
• Knowledge of EzyVet or other veterinary software.
