As a third-generation family business, Darwalla started producing chickens over 90+ years in Mt Cotton, with farms now located in the Redlands, on the Darling Downs and in the Lockyer Valley.

About The Role ...

Join our friendly and supportive 6-person Feed Mill team, responsible for producing poultry feed across our operations.

This Is a Hands-on Role Involving

Batching and operating plant equipmentScheduling deliveriesTroubleshooting breakdownsAssisting with repairs and maintenance

Based at our Mt Cotton site, you’ll report directly to the Feed Mill Manager.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend workRotating Day and Night shifts starting and finishing 6am and 6pm respectivelyOvertime required as part of operations (paid at double time)

This is a 24/7 industry, so flexibility is essential.

Current forklift licenceConfined space entry licenceStrong mechanical aptitudeHands-on, practical approachCommitment to health, safety and environmental standardsGood communication and teamwork skillsProblem-solving abilityFlexible attitudeDriver’s licence and reliable transportPhysical capability for manual tasks
