Lending Associate | Alexandria
Due to continued growth, we are expanding our team!

Lending Association is a respected national mortgage brokerage known for specialist lending advice, strong industry relationships and exceptional client outcomes. We are looking for an experienced Lending Associate to support our Lending Advisors across residential and commercial lending.
This role suits a sharp, organised lending professional who can analyse scenarios, prepare strong submissions and drive applications through to approval.
The Role
Working closely with our Lending Advisors, you will prepare accurate, compliant and lender-ready applications from first review through to approval.
Loan Processing & Credit Assessment
Review and assess client financial information and supporting documentation
Analyse PAYG, self-employed and company income documentation
Prepare servicing assessments and lender-ready submissions
Structure and package mortgage lending applications
Research lender products, policies, pricing and credit requirements
Check applications for accuracy, completeness and approval readiness
Application Management
Manage loan applications from submission through to approval
Order valuations and complete lender pricing requests
Liaise with lenders, BDMs, valuers, solicitors, accountants and other stakeholders
Manage approval conditions and application milestones
Resolve issues quickly and keep stakeholders informed
Compliance & Administration
Maintain accurate CRM records and customer data
Ensure all files meet internal quality standards and compliance requirements
Meet responsible lending, Best Interests Duty, privacy and internal compliance requirements
Maintain high-quality file notes and supporting documentation
About You
Essential
Minimum 2 years' recent mortgage processing experience
Strong understanding of residential lending processes and lender requirements
Experience assessing PAYG and self-employed income
Ability to independently structure and package loan applications
Experience using ApplyOnline, lender portals and aggregator MyCRM systems or others
Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage competing priorities and multiple live applications
Highly Regarded
Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking
Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management
Commercial lending experience such as interpreting company financial statements and complex ownership structures
Settlement experience such as PEXA and panel solicitor knowledge
