Technical Estimator

ARA Security is a leading Australian Security Systems Integration Company. We have an ISO (International Standards Organisation) accredited and offices and representation in all capital cities and major regional locations across Australia.

Due to major increase In projects, we are now searching for a Technical Estimator to join their expanding team.  In this challenging and rewarding opportunity you will be joining a seriously stable, dynamic & entrepreneurial organisation.

To be considered for interview you will have the following skills, experience & aptitude:

• MUST have experience in a Security Estimation role previously

• Work with Sales Team to understand the tender requirements/ expectations.

• Prepare design and specification works on typical system configuration and floor plan layout.

• Once drawings are finalized, prepared bill of quantity and strategize product solutions to meet tender's specifications.

• Work with 3rd party suppliers to specify non-standard products to customer's specification for pricing.

• Ensure tender is completed and submitted on time.

• Understand the project requirements/ expectation from the remote market manager and work closely with the Sales & Design & Project Management team to finalize the drawings and proposals.

• Maintain all drawings and files in the archive library

• Ensure the drawings and quotations are submitted on time.

• Excel advanced is highly advantageous
