Vos Construction and Joinery is currently calling for expressions of interest (EOI) from those looking for a Joinery apprenticeship in Hobart. (Please see below information on how to apply).

About the role:

You’ll achieve a Cert III in Cabinet Making through gaining hands-on experience across a variety of Joinery skills while completing formal training with TAFE Tasmania over a 4-year period.  You'll also have the chance to continue your career with Vos beyond your apprenticeship.

Working alongside some of Tasmania’s best tradespeople, you’ll contribute to a range of exciting and unique projects that will challenge and grow your capabilities.

This role requires you to fully engage with the learning opportunities presented by Vos and our training organisation. As an apprentice, you'll be expected to meet all obligations under your training contract and commit to working diligently and respectfully.

• Demonstrated a genuine interest in Joinery

• Sound English and maths skills

• Undertaken studies in subjects associated with wood work

• Willingness to learn and accept feedback

• Ability to retain and apply new information

• Reliable, self-motivated and team-oriented

• Able to work within our RISQ Circle (Relationships, Integrity, Safety and Quality)
