About the role
The Opportunity?
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Associate to join our Commercial Services team. Working closely with our Principals, you will advise a broad range of clients across industries such as healthcare, food and beverage, retail, professional services, franchising, manufacturing, transport and logistics.
The role offers hands-on involvement in commercial contract drafting and negotiations, risk mitigation and regulatory compliance, including ACCC, PPSA, privacy laws and the Corporations Act, franchising, intellectual property, trade marks as well as a rage of commercial transactions including sales of business and share acquisitions. The position provides ongoing mentoring and genuine opportunities to develop your career within a collaborative and supportive team.
What Are We Looking For?
We are looking for a commercially minded and driven Associate who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to delivering practical, client-focused solutions.
The ideal candidate will have:
Been admitted as a Solicitor in NSW with a minimum of 3 years’ post qualification experience
Demonstrated experience in the practice areas referred to above
Excellent drafting, negotiation, research and advisory skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a practical and client-centred approach
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain effective client relationships
A proactive mindset, curiosity to learn, and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes
