We are looking for an organised, proactive, and down-to-earth People & Culture Coordinator to join us in Essendon. What the Role is Really AboutAs our P&C Coordinator, you are the backbone of our day-to-day operations. You’ll bridge the gap between core administrative workflows and proactive support for our site leaders. While document generation, system maintenance, and ticket queues form a vital foundation of this role, you’ll also own compliance tracking, onboarding experiences, and first-line advisory across our national network.
How You’ll Make an Impact:Seamless Onboarding & Contracts: Own the candidate-to-employee journey by generating employment contracts, coordinating onboarding workflows, and making sure new team members feel welcomed from day one.P&C Operations & Freshdesk: Manage our day-to-day P&C administrative engine, maintaining employee records, position descriptions, and resolving site queries through our Freshdesk ticketing system.SALT & HRIS Super-User: Keep our core database (SALT) accurate and up to date, running key reports, managing data integrity, and helping our team navigate systems effortlessly.National Compliance Ownership: Oversee site compliance tracking across all sites (including Working with Children Checks, First Aid, and background screenings) so our sites are always 100% audit-ready and safe.Warm First-Line Support: Act as an approachable, helpful point of contact for our managers on basic P&C workflows, policy interpretation, and system navigation.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:Solid P&C Foundation: Previous experience as a People & Culture Administrator/Coordinator looking for that clear step up in responsibility and autonomy.Love for Admin & Systems: You know that tight administrative processes are the secret engine room of a great P&C team—and you take genuine pride in accuracy, document control, and clear workflows.Attention to Detail: An eagle eye for detail in contracts, system data, and compliance records.Authentic Communication & EQ: Clear, warm, and approachable communication style that builds trust with site leaders and team members across Australia.Tech Confidence: Strong practical skills in MS Office (Excel & Word) and a natural comfort picking up new HR software, ticketing systems, and database management.
