Warehouse/Store Person

About the role

Working in a small team environment, the overall objective of the Warehouse/Store Person will be to carry out all tasks associated with the receipt of Inwards Goods. Dispatch of products from the warehouse to intercompany warehouses and customers according to established procedures. Correctly store manufactured goods such that deliveries to and from manufacturing are efficient and correct 100% of picks. Work in and positively contribute to a team environment and Adhere to all Company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Picking orders for dispatch

• Internal stock movements

• Unloading containers

• Manual handling

• Adherence to all company and safety policies, protocols and guidelines

• Operating manual handling equipment in line with Occupational Health & Safety requirements

• Capacity to work in a physically demanding role to meet replenishment targets

• Maintaining a clean and organised warehouse environment

• Working with Team Members to optimise warehouse processes and improve efficiency

About you

• Educated to Year 10

• Two (2) years' experience in warehouse environment pick and packing orders and real dispatch dockets

• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to work under pressure

• Capacity to work in a physically demanding role

• Basic numeracy and literacy skills

• Commitment to abide by company & safety policies and procedures

• Car and forklift licenses will be essential

• High attention to detail

• Customer focused attitude
