Vehicle Bodybuilder / Fitter

About the role

As a Vehicle Bodybuilder at Major Motors', you will be responsible for the assembly of custom vehicle bodies and components. This full-time role is based in our Forrestfield, Western Australia facility, where you will work collaboratively with the manufacturing team to deliver high-quality, innovative solutions to our automotive clients.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble and fit vehicle bodies - Trays, Tippers, Water trucks, Service Trucks and all components according to engineering specifications ( Previous experience in this field is a must to progress to interview stage )

• Communicate with the engineering and design teams to understand and execute project requirements

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes

• Maintain a safe, organised and efficient work environment

About you

• Formal qualifications in vehicle bodybuilding, welding or a related trade

• Demonstrated experience in vehicle assembly and modification

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications

• Proficiency in the use of welding equipment, power tools and other specialised machinery

• A commitment to workplace safety and quality control

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
