STOREMAN- DAY SHIFT

DAY SHIFT STOREPERSON – FULL-TIME | SILVERDALE

Direct Steel Traders is a growing steel supplier based in Silverdale, NSW, and we're looking for a reliable and motivated Storeperson to join our day shift team.

This is a full-time, permanent position offering stable hours, hands-on work and the opportunity to learn and develop within the steel industry.

• Monday to Friday

• 6:00am – 2pm

• Hourly rate based on experience

• 12% morning shift loading on top of your base rate

• Overtime opportunities may be available

Your day-to-day duties will include:

• Reading order paperwork and locating products throughout the warehouse and yard

• Picking steel products using an overhead crane

• Strapping and preparing material for dispatch

• Loading and unloading trucks

• Stock control and general warehouse duties

• Maintaining a clean and safe work area

• Working as part of a team to ensure orders are picked accurately and on time

Previous warehouse or steel experience is an advantage, however training can be provided for the right person.

The following would be highly regarded:

• Previous warehousing, stores or yard experience

• Experience loading and unloading trucks

• Steel industry experience

• Overhead crane experience

• Forklift licence

• HR licence

We're looking for someone who is reliable, safety-conscious, physically capable and willing to learn. You'll need to be comfortable working in a busy warehouse and yard environment and enjoy practical, hands-on work.

You must have reliable transport to and from our Silverdale NSW 2752 site, Monday to Friday.
