Data Analytics Intern - Growth BI

We're looking for a data analytics intern to join Growth BI, a Melbourne-based analytics and BI consultancy working with real clients on real projects.
Role Description As a Data Analytics Intern – Growth BI, you will support the development, maintenance, and improvement of Power BI dashboards for clients across various industries. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with data visualisation, data modeling and conducting exploratory data analysis under the guidance of senior team members. You will help document data processes, contribute to internal reporting, and collaborate with consultants to translate business questions into analytical outputs. This is an internship role based in Melbourne, VIC with a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site collaboration with work-from-home flexibility. You will get direct mentoring from experienced consultants and exposure to how a consultancy actually runsQualificationsStrong foundation in data-focused skills, including Data Analytics and Data Analysis.Solid Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret quantitative information and identify trends.Competence in Data Management, including organizing, cleaning, and validating datasets.Basic understanding of Data Modeling concepts and their application to BI solutions.Familiarity with business intelligence tools (preferably Power BI) and Excel or similar spreadsheet software.Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in data science, analytics, statistics, computer science, or a related field.Clear communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a consulting environment.Interest in learning modern analytics practices and growing a career in BI and data consulting.
