An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced VR GP to join a very well-established medical centre in West Hobart, either as a Senior Consultant GP or GP Supervisor.

AGPAL-accredited and proudly serving the local community for more than two decades, the practice has built an excellent reputation for high-quality patient care and for supporting the next generation of GPs through its established registrar supervision program.

Practising from a beautifully restored heritage building with modern clinical facilities, the GP and registrar team sees the full breadth of general practice presentations across adults, children and families.

Due to continued patient demand and the ongoing support of registrars across FSP and PEP pathways, the practice is seeking an experienced VR GP who enjoys clinical variety, collegial practice and teaching.

The role can be shaped around your interests, with the option to practise as a Senior GP or take on GP Supervisor responsibilities.

The practice operates a hybrid billing model: single-issue presentations are bulk billed, while multiple-issue presentations attract a gap payment.

Essential requirements:

• Completed VR training

• Fellowship with RACGP or ACRRM, or specialist registration as a GP, including pre-1996 trained doctors

• Full Medicare claiming privileges

• A genuine interest in collegiate practice, teaching and ongoing professional development
