RN for General Practice

The Role: As a key member of our clinical team, you will work closely with our GPs to deliver comprehensive primary care services. This is a diverse role covering everything from acute triage to chronic disease management. Four to five days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clinical Care: Wound management, immunisations, ECGs, spirometry, and assisting with minor surgical procedures.

• Chronic Disease Management: Developing and maintaining GP Management Plans (GPMPs) and Team Care Arrangements (TCAs).

• Triage: Assessing acute presentations and managing the flow of the treatment room.

• Cold Chain Management: Ensuring the integrity of our vaccine fridge and stock.

• Health Promotion: Conducting health assessments for our aging population .

About You:

• Current AHPRA Registration (RN ).

• General Practice experience is highly preferred.

• Proficiency in Best Practice (BP) software is a significant advantage.

• Strong understanding of the Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) related to nursing items.

• Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient rapport and teamwork.

• A proactive attitude toward clinical governance and accreditation standards.
