About the opportunity

At Werribee Mercy Hospital, our Operating Theatre team is raising the bar, lifting the standards, and going for GOLD. We're building a perioperative workforce of high performers who thrive in a fast‑paced, patient‑centred environment and we need some experienced passionate, registered nurses to join the team on a casual basis to assist in filling short notice vacancies.

Who We're Looking For

Dynamic nurses who:
Have the availability to pick up one to two shifts per fortnight
Are willing to complete and keep all competencies up to date
Have a minimum of 2 years perioperative nursing experience
Hold themselves - and their practice - to exceptional standards
Understand and work confidently with ACORN and NSQHS standards
Put patient safety at the forefront of every decision
Are strong, compassionate advocates for patients and families

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
