Betabuild Pty Ltd is a reputable Building and Maintenance Company delivering medium to high volume Building Maintenance and Minor Works Projects in SEQ. 

Our focus is in the Government sector and to provide our valued clients with a high level of customer focus, service, and quality work. 

The position will suit a motivated and organised well-presented person and a Building Supervisor who takes ownership, responsibility and pride in their work who can join our team seamlessly. 

• Experience working in the Government sector is ESSENTIAL for this position.

• Experience in Building Construction, building maintenance and client services with a solid Carpentry/Building trade background is required.

• Preference for applicants who have experience working in the Government Sector

About the Role and Responsibilities 

• As a Building Supervisor, you will be responsible to manage and co-ordinate multiple projects, trades, and suppliers at any one time and oversee contract maintenance works.

• Liaise with valued clients, staff, contractors, suppliers and develop a good rapport and establish relationships

• Manage and provide estimates and quotes to meet tight deadlines to meet client needs and expectations

• Successfully deliver various size projects and maintenance works within time and budget and to meet client needs

• Communicate and liaise with your operations manager, team members and provide updates/reports on projects 

• Manage, train, and enforce Workplace Health & Safety to ensure a safe work environment for all workers and meet all client requirements

 Skills and experience 

• Experience working within the Government sector

• Builder/Carpenter Trade Qualifications

• Commercial and/or residential construction knowledge and experience

• Managing/Supervising various maintenance, minor works, and Construction Projects

• Ability and skills to manage multiple projects efficiently

• High standards for the delivery of quality work

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to develop relationships with valued clients, staff, and contractors

• Ability to make decisions and maintain budgets

• High level of organisational ability to manage tasks efficiently and effectively 

• Attention to detail and strong work ethic

• Be a genuine person, team player and work autonomously

• Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills

• Take ownership of all projects from commencement to completion

• Computer skills, capable and competent to use Microsoft Outlook, Job Management Programs, Apps and devices to fulfill the role as Building Supervisor
